14 - 16 Peterborough Road

Prime Square Services were appointed to undertake a comprehensive public health installation package at 14–16 Peterborough Road, London, delivering the principal domestic water and drainage services throughout the building.

The installation included new mains cold water (MCWS), boosted cold water (BCWS), hot water services and hot water flow and return (HWS F&R), distributed from the domestic water plant room through the building's service risers to serve the various sanitary and domestic water requirements.

PSS completed the domestic water plant room installation, including the associated distribution pipework, valves and connections required to supply the building. From the plant room, new boosted water services were distributed vertically through the risers and across the building to serve the toilet cores and other water outlets.

A significant element of the works was the installation of the toilet core services throughout the building, including domestic water distribution, sanitary pipework and final connections to sanitaryware. The installation was carefully coordinated within the risers and core areas to provide an accessible and maintainable system while working alongside the other building services.

PSS also installed the building's above-ground foul and sanitary drainage systems, including soil stacks, waste pipework and branch connections serving the toilet cores and other sanitary facilities. The drainage systems were routed through the building and connected into the below-ground drainage infrastructure at basement level.

The project also included the installation of the rainwater drainage system, with rainwater pipework distributed vertically through the building from the roof and external drainage areas down to basement level for connection into the site's drainage infrastructure.

The extensive network of service risers formed a key part of the installation, carrying the domestic water, hot water and drainage services between floors and requiring detailed coordination with the building structure and other MEP services.

Overall, the works at 14–16 Peterborough Road demonstrate Prime Square Services' capability to deliver a complete public health package, from major plant room and riser installations through to floor distribution, toilet cores, sanitary drainage and final connections, providing a fully integrated installation across the building.
